Case #143

Today I present to you a case of extreme difficulty. This patient underwent surgery when she was a baby and as a result, her right nostril was deformed. This deformation accompanied her entire growth with all understandable psychological sequelae. In these cases the objective is to give a normal nose, not perfect, namely in the front view. Eight months passed, the surgery took 5 and a half hours and skin and cartilage from the ear were used to redo the nostril. This is a case of extreme complexity, the result may still have improved slightly, but we have now had a normal nose. Thank you so much for the trust and for authorizing the post. (In addition to the reconstruction of the nostril, the hump was removed and a slight improvement was made to the tip, the last photo is the ear after the skin and cartilage have been removed).
