Case #73

This patient came to my appointment because she thought her nose was overall big and without definition. The major issue was her skin. Thick skin is a major challenge in #rinoplasty. In a thick-skinned nose, the tip has to keep some projection or the nose becomes less defined than initially. Base reduction turns out to be the only way to really remove excess skin. In addition to this there are some more tricks to give more definition to the tip, but the result will take much longer than on thin skin. This result is about a year and a half after surgery. The nose without a hump in the profile, with a more defined tip in the frontal view and a less wide nose. These changes resulted in an overall smaller nose. The patient is happy with the new nose and I thank the trust placed in me to do her #rinoplasty.
